Who We Are

Ruffus Rescue was established to rescue dogs from local and rural animal shelters statewide where very few adoptions occur in hopes of finding wonderful and loving homes for these unwanted dogs who would otherwise be euthanized. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and receive no government funding.

 Foster Homes Are Desperately Needed

Please contact us if you can provide a temporary loving home to one of our wonderful pets available for adoption. We provide all food and crates.

If you cannot currently foster a homeless pet, please consider making a donation. Many of our rescued dogs come to us with heartworms or Parvo disease. Others come into our program with serious injuries resulting from animal cruelty, neglect or having been hit by a car. Your financial support makes it possible for us to give these animals a second chance at a happy life. Donations can be made online by clicking on the Donate button below OR mailed to us here.
